Heat pump cost in Ireland
The cost of a heat pump installation depends on the property, the existing heating system, the heat-loss characteristics of the building and the work needed to deliver the finished system. There is no single price that applies to every Irish home.

Ask for a written, itemised quote
When comparing installers, ask what equipment and installation work is included, what assumptions have been made about heat loss, what happens to existing radiators and pipework, the warranty and after-sales arrangements, and which grant assumptions have been used.
How SEAI grants affect the project
SEAI currently lists a heat-pump-system grant of up to €12,500 depending on dwelling type and eligibility. The available support is made up of different components and the amount cannot exceed the cost of eligible works. Check the current official rules before relying on a grant figure.
